Join the Port of Vancouver for World Maritime Day on Saturday, October 1st as they celebrate with a lineup of free, family-friendly activities along the waterfront.

World Maritime Day was established in 1978 by the United Nations to mark the 20th anniversary of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) Conventions entry into force. Celebrations are held throughout the world every year to recognize the international maritime industrys contribution to shipping safety, maritime security, and the marine environment. The theme this year is: New technologies for greener shipping.
